1. Overview

Easy Palette Pro is a browser-based photo mask editor. We design the product so that image processing happens locally in your browser, reducing the amount of personal data we need to collect. This privacy policy explains what information we handle today, what we plan to collect when we enable Google Analytics, and the controls available to you.

2. Data we process while you edit

  • Uploaded images, generated masks, and exports never leave your device. They are stored in memory while you work and cleared when you refresh or close the tab.
  • We do not create user accounts, so we do not store passwords, payment details, or persistent identifiers.
  • Temporary interface preferences such as theme or language may be saved in local storage to make your next visit smoother. You can reset these values by clearing your browser storage.

3. Planned use of Google Analytics

We intend to enable Google Analytics to understand feature adoption and improve product stability. Once live, the service will capture high-level usage metrics such as page views, button clicks, anonymized country-level geography, and device types. We will not send image content, mask data, or other creative assets to Google Analytics.

You will be able to opt out of analytics through a cookie banner and browser-level controls. We will respect the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where supported.

4. Cookies and local storage

Until analytics is enabled, we only use essential cookies or local storage entries to remember UI preferences. When analytics launches, non-essential cookies will remain disabled until you provide consent. You may delete cookies at any time through your browser settings.

5. Email updates and forms

If you subscribe to product updates from Easy Palette Pro, we will collect your email address solely for that purpose. Each email will contain an unsubscribe link. We use reputable email service providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality agreements.

6. Data retention

  • Local editing data: cleared when you close or refresh the tab.
  • Analytics data (once enabled): retained by Google Analytics according to the shortest practical retention setting, currently 14 months.
  • Email subscriber data: kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
